County holidays off while on Inpatient or outpatient psychiatry service

Vituity gear 

Up to 2 2-hour blocks of time each time (arranged beforehand) to attend medical appointments each week, psychotherapy can be accommodated under aegis of medical appointments. (While on psychiatry service)

GME Benefits

Education Benefit: $50 per pay period (approx $1,300)

Food Benefit: $150 per pay period (approx $3,900)

Vehicle Allowance: $28.66 per pay period (approx $745.16)

Medical Insurance: Premium subsidies, up to $482; Kaiser or Blue Cross, HMO or PPO

Dental Insurance: Premium subsidy, $9.42

Vision Insurance: No cost to residents

Short-term Disability: No cost to residents

Paid Time Off: 4 weeks 

Medical/Dental/Caregiver Leave: 6 weeks paid time off one time during residency for qualifying reasons at 100% of salary without exhausting other allowed time away from the program. Further details are in the program training manual. 

Life Insurance: Premium paid for by the county, $35,000 to the beneficiary of your choice  

Deferred Compensation Plan: 7.5% of salary, in place of social security tax, into a 457(b) account that is tax-deferred (how much max?)

iPad: Provided for the duration of training

AMA: Membership provided for the duration of training

Safe Ride Home: Taxi vouchers available from Nursing supervisors

Dependent Care Assistance Plan/Flexible Savings Account: Voluntary, can provide tax-deferred income for appropriate expenses
